Moses Time Domain Simulation

Hi All,

I am trying to perform a time domain simulation on Moses on a ship shaped vessel. However, I notice that the model is not stationery (Please note: I have not defined any current or wind) in simulation. In fact, in some cases the model flies off from the water surface and flips.

What are you possible reasons for such behavior? Can some one please elaborate.

Thanks in advance.

  • Sid,

As you might be aware that non linear time domain simulations are sensitive to input. Changing one single input will dramatically change the simulation. Without the input and model, it is not possible to pinpoint the actual cause out of the numerous possibilities. Please feel free to log a service request and forward the CIF and DAT files and we will be very glad to assist you.

    Thank you,
