dear kasiphon ,
This is my hunched section , can you please advice or material ,how to model this section in the SACS .
c.karthikeyan,
The method by which you model something is dependent upon your objective. What are you trying to accomplish by modeling the haunch? The most common reason for modeling a haunch in SACS is to get the additional stiffness of the haunch for global behavior. Many users will simply model the haunch as a deeper wide flange, a tapered member or a custom section with the approximate properties of the haunch. Others will model the haunch as an offset and assume the haunch is rigid. If you want to actually design the haunch, then you can't really use beam elements unless you do some additional hand calculations afterwards. Your other option is to model the haunch using plate elements and perform a finite element analysis, but this is typically not done for the global model as the additional plates add to the analysis time and modeling time.
