I am currently code checking the legs of a MOPU during transportation as shown below.
The hull will be pinned at EL+2.4 m.
From the ABS code, the legs should be checked against a 6 deg pitch / roll and 0.2g of heave.
Therefore, the we have created the tow input file as follows:

I am certain that by using the above input, inertial forces generated for the legs above the waterline would be correct.
However, for the legs submerged in water, is it necessary to manually apply added mass and mass of entrapped fluid in order to generate the correct inertial forces?
