Hello, my name is mizan. i am a student from indonesia and now doing some task about pile soil interaction.
i found error when trying to create soil plot from my psiinp file.
thank you for your attention.
You have wrong command definition in your PSI file and we can't find the cause without the input You can attach your PSI file here so we can have a look at it.
Thank you for your response sir. i have already found the reason why. but now i have another more warning like this.
do you know how to solve this warning? i have changed the max number of iteration into 999 but it won't work. Thank you for your attention
The warning tells you have an improper soil definition of T-Z curve which causes problem in convergence. Please check your T-Z input, generally increase soil stiffness in T-Z or increase pile penetration can solve this problem.
Thank you sir for your advice, i will try to look at my T-Z input.
sir, sorry i want to ask again.is it okay if i change the pile penetration length more than the maximum depth of soil data that i have? for example, i have soil data until 106,8 m then i change my pile penetration into 150 m.
Thank you for your attention
The maximum depth of soil data should always be greater than pile penetration for a real project. It's not practical that the pile hang in air.
