Dear MOSES Experts,
Just a quick question for about Stability Analysis using MOSES 7.10,
How do you define on .CIF file when you need an output of 'STATIC HEEL DUE TO WIND'?
Because I can only know how to define for 'STATIC HEEL w/o WIND' with I_ZCROSS while on MOSES 7.00 (old version) can manage automatically output both of it at once.
I need it both results of "STATIC HEEL without WIND and due to WIND" from MOSES 7.10 (not the old one) because due to of one this stability assessment:
"The barge shall not exceed 5 deg (conservative) tilt or list inclination during lifting operations without environment loads and 5 deg inclination with environment loads (Refers to ASME B30.8-2004 Floating Cranes and Floating Derricks which is approx. 5-7 deg limitation)."
Please answer.
Thank you.

Hello Mustofa,
I am making the assumption that you are using the stab_ok command. Angle of heel due to wind is usually referred to as the the first intercept of the heeling curve and the righting arm curve. You can designate the "not exceed 5 deg" by using the option "-i_theta1 5" for intact or "-d_theta1 5" for damage.
I hope this helps.

Thank you for the answer.
How do you explain if the results of static heel due to wind is lesser than a static heel without wind?
Shouldn't be the opposite of it because of wind cause more heel than without the wind? If so, something wrong then from my .CIF file right?
Here's my results for example
Static Heel w/o Wind <= 5.00 DEG 0.24 Passes1st Intercept <= 5.00 DEG 0.03 Passes
Hi Mustofa,
You give me very little information to work with. Yes, you need to review the command file and understand the system you are analyzing.
Is this a damage case? Is there a list in the equilibrium condition? Is the wind in the same direction as the list?
User support is intended to answer questions about how the program works. Evaluating the results is beyond the scope of user support.
Thank you for understanding,
