Hello, i wanna ask about uc on joint can summary. When i'm looking at my joint can summary there is two value of uc, load uc and strength uc. Actually, what is the difference between load uc and strength uc? which one should i check? is both of them or not?

Load UC is computed based on actual loads transferred by the braces to the chord. It is a mandatory strength check and must be satisfied.
For Offshore Structures , API RP 2A WSD Code mandates the need to check for strength utilisation ratio of tubular joints.
Strength UC is computed by applying fictious load equal to 50% strength of the corresponding braces and computing the joint UC of the chord.
For offshore structures, as per API RP 2A WSD, both Joint and Strength UC checks are mandatory for tubular joints.

Thank you sir,But i wanna ask again about the value of strength UC, is the strength UC always have the same value for every condition ? and is there any factor that can change the value ?
Strength UC:
As you know, The Joint Classification is dependent on the forces acting on the Joint.
Even though the fictitious Force considered is equal to 50% of the brace strength, the Joint Classification is Load Case (actual member forces) Dependent.
As long as the Joint Classification remains same across the Load Conditions, the Strength UC will also remain the same. But most cases, the Joint Classification will vary from one Load Condition to another causing variation in Strength UC across Load Conditions.
