I have a some offshore cone penetration test (CPT) data (qc, fs, u2, Fr etc.). Is there a method (theoretical or otherwise) that will allow me to convert my CPT data to t-z curves so I can generate my psi file?? (Or can I somehow input my CPT data directly in my psi file?)The papers I've found suggest that there is a method but none of the articles I can access have elaborated.Any help would be appreciated.
PSI provides 4 methods to generate T-Z curves using CPT-based methods which are recommended by API:
The CPT method is specified on the TZAPI HEAD line. In the example below, the T-Z curve is being generated based upon the ICP method:
See section 2.4.3.5 of the PSI manual for more information.
I also encounter to this problem.
How to verify the p-y, t-z and q-z output from this kind of input (let say ICP-05 method).
I have soil report which provided the soil property (Su Fs.... and p-y, t-z, q-z)
I created the p-y, t-z and q-z by ICP-05 method and compare these values with the provided p-y, t-z and q-z in soil report.
Finally, it is too different....
