Tugboat Additional Criteria

All of our criteria are fully editable. This particular criteria looks quite generic, so you can probably find the exact same criteria under a different rule set.

However, the proper way to do this is by using the Parent Heeling Levers and Parent Criteria.

- Find the applicable criteria from the Parent Criteria at the top of the list.

     - I found this one under Parent Criteria | Heeling Arm Criteria (xRef) | GZ Area Between Limits

     - Note that this uses a cross referenced heeling arm (xRef), there are alternative ones that are standalone, in which the heeling lever is defined in the rule.

- Copy and paste the criteria into your own Criteria Group before attempting to edit it.

- You will also need to have a heeling arm, from the Parent Heeling Arm group pasted into the same group as your rule is in.

- Edit the values and limitations to suit your needs. There is a description available in the Criterion Help section.

I'm not understanding how merge 2 criteria (Parent Heeling Levers and Parent Criteria) as one. can you please prepare this criteria for me so that i can import it easily.

You don't Merge them, you cross reference the Heeling Lever from the Criteria. This way, you can have several criteria referencing the same heeling lever. The trick here is that the heeling arm must be in the same group as the rule in order for it to be visible in the list of available heeling arms.

Bureau Veritas has defined the heeling arm calculation formula in their rule book (BV Rules Pt D, Ch 14, Sec 2.2.2). I didn't find this formula in parent heeling arms section. How can i modify of create this formula as a criteria? Please help. 

This looks like a Towing Heeling Arm:

Parent Heeling Arms | Towing Heeling Arms.

In this case, the horizontal offset would be zero, so the sine term would become zero.
