Dear Sir / Madam,
I would like to do launch analysis in Moses without using automatic offshore installation macros, but I am not able to activate the launch way connectors (I am not talking about rocker arm pins and trailing edges connectors).
I tried to use the manual launch files (man_laun.cif, man_laun.dat and ji_barge.dat) and I would be grateful if you update these to define the connectors or send me any sample which shows how to define them without using install macro.

Many thanks for your help and the clarification. I went through the files and now I understand how MOSES carries out the launch analysis.By the way, I am still interested in knowing the alternative ways to model the vertical supports.

There is an example that shows how to make vertical supports. Please see the tow)native files in the MOSES installation directory.
\hdesk\runs\samples\install
In this file vertical supports are modeled as tubulars. Please see lines 27 to 35.
