How do you calculate the weight of the model given you have surface thickness provided and density of material known? I am talking about actual weight and not displacement.

Hi Aman,
If you have a structural model in MAXSURF, you can get the weights, areas, centroids etc of all the parts from the Structure Data Window, Parts List tab.
Alternatively, if you only have surfaces in your model, you can get the areas of those surfaces from Data | Calculate Areas. There are options to calculate the 3D area or 2D projected areas. You can also calculate above / below waterline or total area.
