While doing flotation and upending in SACS, pitch angle reported in the listing file is different than the one seen in nuetral picture file. On screen in neutral picture file it is showing 11.37 degrees where as in listing file it is showing 7.125 under “ INITIAL JACKET ORIENTATION “ and 11.37 degrees under “ UPENDING PHASE SUMMARY REPORT”.
Please help me under stand the difference.
Check your equilibrium, particularly the center of gravity and center of buoyancy for the initial position. The initial jacket orientation is defined by the Jacket Orientation input on the JCKO line, but the reported Initial Position from the Upending Phase Summary Report is based upon the calculated equilibrium of the Upending analysis.
