Tow Fatigue with SACS

You haven't shown any of your calculations. I'm not sure if I can help you very well if you don't share your calculations. I went ahead and posted a verification of the RAO displacements and accelerations that are reported here:

If I had to guess, I would list probable causes as:

• Using a unit wave height instead of a unit wave amplitude (1m instead of 1/2 m)
• Using incorrect values for the phase angles (phi = 0,-90deg)
• Calculating the values in incorrect units (eg rad/s^2 instead of deg/s^2)

You are using wave height instead of wave amplitude (i.e. H should be 0.5). Also, you are not using the correct units. The first term in your acceleration calculation is in m/s^2 and the second term is in g. You need to divide the first term by 9.81 m/s^2 to put everything in terms of g.
