Is there any limitations regarding OD/Length ratio for the PSI convergence?
I'm experiencing a problem and cannot figure why for the exactly same soil data, with 25m of length, a OD = 3851mm pile converges and the other with OD = 5000 mm does not?
Changing the diameter of the pile will have an effect on the convergence of the pile by changing the displacement which in turn changes the T-Z and/or P-Y curve calculations. See section 5 for some troubleshooting information regarding issues with convergence. I specifically refer to the 2nd item which suggest modifying the TABR values or modifying the P-Y and T-Z curves to help with convergence.
