Skin curves does not work

Question

Dear Sir, 
 I created curves using maker stations. However, I can't use the skin curve command it is not highlighted in the index. Can you tell me what is the reason for this

Hi Sameera, 
 There are a few things you need for trimming. 
 - Turn trimming on using Diusplay | Trimming | Trim Invisible. 
 - Make sure that you have cutting surfaces or curves to trim the surface: 
 - Go to the surface properties (several ways, but select the surface, right click and properties is easy) 
 - Go to Cutting Surfaces and Curves 
 - Ensure that you have suitable surfaces selected. Using Select Intersecting is pretty effective 
 
 - The final step is to ensure that your intersecting surfaces form closed regions. In this example, the grey surface is split into two regions by the yellow surface and can be trimmed. However the opposite is not true, the yellow surface is only one region and wither everything or nothing will be trimmed.

Hi Sameera, 
 You need to select some curves first, then the Skin Curves command will be active. 
 If you're using the Skin Curves command, it will join together all of the start points of the curves along one edge, therefore curve direction is important. 
 If you find you are getting a twisted shaped surface, try using Curve | Reverse Curve on the problematic curves. 
 If you can't tell by looking, you can click on the last control point in a curve and see if it is Column 0 (the start) or a higher number (the end). In my case, I'm making sure that Column 2 is at the gunwhale for every curve.
