SACS Result - Single loadcase in 3d view

Dear All,

I am new to SACS and require a bit of guidance on the following:

1. How can I view results for a particular load case in 3D view? (Like UC ratio for particular load case with label on screen)

2. Can I view the moment/Axial force diagram of whole structure together in 3d view in  SACS?

3. In labelling option > Results - What does internal load in Member implies?

Any response or addition is highly appreciated. Thanks alot.

  • Hi Syed,

    1. You can view results for a particular load case only in Review and Redesign Member dialog. The 3D view with label on screen will only display results based on Critical load cases for each member.

    2. Yes, you can view the diagram force for the whole structure. Open psvdb in Precede > Member > Moment Diagram. Select all members to view the whole structure diagram. This function is available on SACS 11.3 onwards.

    3. The internal load in member gives you the member forces for the position along the member and load case causing the highest interaction ratio. Axial and shear forces are reported in the member local X, Y and Z directions. Torsion and moment about the local Y and local Z axes are also included.

    I hope this helps!
