Hi, Does the SACS wave response module able to consider the pdelta effects (using PD commands) when generating Base shear transfer function AND also when generating the equivalent static load for accurate stress recovery.
Yes. Dynpac can calculate the reduced stiffness matrix using the PD commands and LCSEL commands for the modal extraction which will soften the structure for the dynamic response. See section 2.6 of the Dynpac manual.
After performing the wave response analysis and generating the equivalent static load file, the stiffness matrix will be recomputed for solution used in the fatigue damage analysis. Be sure to include the P-Delta load case if a separate seastate input file is used in the fatigue transfer function generation calculation. The P-Delta option should be automatically passed to the equivalent static load (OCI) model file.
