Hi,
I came across a SACS release note indicating that we can now combine results from different analysis into a single postvue database file with SACS 13 and later versions. Found a tutorial video on the BENTLEY learning portal and followed the exact steps to try this option out. Noticed that the combined postvue database is getting generated, but I am facing some issue that the combined effect of all analysis is unable to generate. Individually I am able to see all the member UCs by toggling the “Current Task” (available in the display menu) option to which ever analysis I select. This happens even after selecting the “Task” to “Combined DB” in the labelling options popup menu.
I noticed that a Failure to merge message appearing in the messages which appear in the “Combine Postvue Datbases” utility tool, when we click the option “Merge Folders”. I made sure that the Database files are created while running each of the analysis. Facing the same issue no matter how many times I tried with many models. Also tried with he models available in the sample projects folder. Not sure if this is related to SACS 13 version because in the tutorial SACS 13.2 was used.
If someone throws some light regarding this it would be great!
Thanks
Hi Kiran,I checked and found no issue in generating the combined psvdb file in SACS 13.2 as below:You may want to update your SACS 13.0 (the latest version is SACS 15.0) and see if the issue resolved, or you can raise a service ticket and share your project files that you want to combine, so our support can help with your issues.Regards,Nurfaiza Mat
Hi Nurfaiza,
Thanks for the reply. May be the issue is with the SACS 13 version. Surprised to see that it is not working even though the utility tool is there.
Below is the screen shots just for reference.
We can see that the member UCs are same for both "Inplace" option and "Combined DB" option. As the Current task is set to "Inplace".
As of SACS update that is an organizational decision.
