Hi there.
Could anybody explain me why SACS define "Noncompact" section class for PG1200x500x12x25. We have flange W-T ratio (b/tf) which equals 10.0 in according with AISC 1989, SACS has to define this flange as slender.
Could anybody correct me where I made a mistake?
I was able to verify the same issue. It seems that the kc factor was not being correctly applied when calculating the limiting ratios. I've submitted a defect to the development team and it should be fixed in SACS 15.2.
Regards,
Geoff
