Hi,
I am trying to perform the time history seismic collapse analysis. From the SACS Bentley Support team, I have received some reference SACS Input files that should help me to prepare my input files and run the analysis. However, after trying multiple ways, I am not able to run the collapse analysis. The steps I have followed to do the analysis are:
1) Applied horizontal inertia loads by introducing the accelerations of 0.30G in X & Y directions to generate pile super-element.
2) Performed dynamic analysis using pile super-element to get the dynamic mode shape and dynamic mass.
3) Performed the time history seismic dynamic response + collapse analysis as per input files I received from the SACS Support Team. I am using external time history file for seismic accelerations. I have attached the snapshot of the input file.
After doing all these steps, SACS is having no problem when it is running dynamic response. However, the moment it runs the collapse module, it pops up an error "System error has occurred".
