Hi all
How can *.OFF Offset file from ORC (formerly IMS) VPP be imported into Maxsurf?
Currently they can be exported as IMS LPP but cannot find an Import option.
If I am not wrong this was possible with Hydrolink on older release of Maxsurf?

I don't think we have ever had it as an import option.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the *.off file format (in the context of IMS LPP) is basically just the station position and then a series of offset, height coordinates. You should be able to edit the file in Excel into long, offset, height format and then bring it into MAXSURF as markers.

I found an old Hydrolink manual and *OFF was actually available as an export option only.
Surely you can edit in Excel but I was searching for a easier way.
I converted *OFF to *.LFH in Wolfson Unit VPP then imported this in Maxsurf.
By the way, Maxsurf invert Y / Z values from *.LFH so I had to perform a markers transformation as well.

I just tested a round trip (export then import the file again) on the Wolfson filetype and you're right - backwards. I'll get that fixed.
