 The above image is a basic example of what im trying to achieve.

&lt;p&gt;Can you apply a moment to your structure, rather than forces at a distance? Where are the forces being applied to your structure?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Yes - all of your nodes need to be connected to a single body. As you point out, you could use a &amp;quot;dummy&amp;quot; member&amp;nbsp;to link the structure to your node. and then use joint linking to ensure that the load and structure remain connected. Or you could use a member section with very stiff properties.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I would have thought applying a moment was the easiest solution.&lt;/p&gt;
