Hi everyone,
I want to get the magnitud of the pressure along the hull. I have selected the Panel Method in Maxsurf Motions and I got the pressures for each panel. The program identify each panel with a number but I did not find how to see where is located in the hull each numbered panel. I would appreciate any help on this regard.

Hi Juan,
We've never had a request for this before! What do you need the panel locations for? What is your intended workflow?
If you let me know how you'll use the data then we can make sure any enhancement we do makes the info as usable as possible. For instance, the nodes and verticies might be less useful than centroid, area and normal direction.
As a workaround, you should be able to use File | Export | Analysis Mesh | STL to generate a text file with the node locations and triangle verticies.

Thank you James, that's right , there is always a first time!!!. I would think in the opposite direction. What is the point of calculating pressures in panels if you don't know exactly where those panels are located in the model? Sorry, I am not familiar with 3D builder and this is what I got:

Open the STL file in a text editor (notepad) - You'll see its just text insideDoes your model look like that in Motions? You'll need to work on the meshing to get decent results out.
