Hi, I have a Tz Qz and Py curves all in kN/cm. However, SACS ask for input data for Tz and Qz in kN/cm2. What should I do? should I divide Tz data by pile circumference and Qz by the corss-sectional area of the pile end? I would really appreciate if someone couuld give me a good and reasonable explanation of the Tz and Qz inputs. Many thanks in advance. Ali
Hi,
Yes. We have to enter corresponding factors to convert the units. Below is a snap of the conversion for your reference.
Hope this is useful.

Thank you for your reply. As I understand in the example you have shown me, the Tz values are in kN/m2 and not kN/m. That means it already takes into account the pile circumference right?
Yes. The T values are given for a particular dia of pile, usually in kPa.
