Hi,
is it possible to model a tank with #weight without modeling the tank definition? How do i do this if I already know the CG location on each tank and the max FSM?
#weight is intended to model weights that do not move. Having FSM implies that the CG of the compartment will move. You would be using a tool for a task not intended.
To answer the question as asked, you can hand compute the compartment VCG including FSM and put that in the definition of #weight.
The command sequence would look similar to the below:
*PT X1, Y1, Z1
#weight *pt WT RX RY RZ
The Z1 position of *pt includes VCG change due to FSM.
I do not know the difficulties you are experiencing in modeling the compartment. I am not familiar with your project. My preference is to model the compartment.
I hope this helps.
