Hello,
I would like to store to a variable the value of a specific statistic.
For instance let's consider the attached testcase. I would like to get the statistics for the mag(forces) on connector A, so I issue the command:
...
PRCPOST CONFORCE -mag_define y x z REPORT vlist statistic 1 8
I get the statistic table on the output log:
>statistic 1 8 +++ T I M E S T A T I S T I C S +++ ===================================== MAG Description A -------------------- --------- Mean 78.76 Variance 198.23 Root Mean Square 80.00 Std. Deviation 14.08 Skewness 0.40 Kurtosis -1.11 Number of Peaks 50 Av Of 1/3 Highest 104.05 Av Of 1/3 Lowest 60.93 Av Of 1/100 Highest 107.75 Av Of 1/100 Lowest 56.50 Av Of 1/1000 Highest 107.75 Av Of 1/1000 Lowest 56.50 Maximum 107.75 Minimum 56.50 Pred. Max 118.88 Pred. Min 47.95 Av Of 1/3 H-Mean 25.29 Av Of 1/3 L-Mean -17.83 Av Of 1/100 H-Mean 29.00 Av Of 1/100 L-Mean -22.26 Av Of 1/1000 H-Mean 29.00 Av Of 1/1000 L-Mean -22.26 Maximum - Mean 29.00 Minimum - Mean -22.26 Pred. Max-Mean 40.13 Pred. Min-Mean -30.81
Now I would like to store the "Pred. Max" and the "Pred. Min" to variables. How can I access to these data?
Example attached.
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

Thanks Georgina, I see:
set_variable conA_stat -statistics 1 8&type Connector A statistics %conA_stat&type Connector A statistics &token(16 %conA_stat)
do the trick.
Best,
Hi Doug,
In the disposition menu there is the command "set_variable". For example to get the maximum you would type something similar to
PRCPOST
CONFORCE -mag_define x y z
report
set_variable conA_max -maximum 18
end
&type Connector A maximum %conA_max
There is also an option for statistics. Please see section 10.6 Getting Data in the user's manual.
I hope this helps.
