Analysis and Design Software for Offshore Engineering and Marine Projects

Analysis and design of offshore platforms are some of the greatest technical challenges in the engineering profession. To address this, Bentley proudly offers the SACS family of software and its proven offshore industry-specific capabilities. Recently acquired from EDI with nearly 40 years as the mainstay for offshore engineers worldwide, SACS provides comprehensive lifecycle applications for the analysis and design of new and existing fixed offshore structures for the oil, gas, and wind energy industries.

Bentley also supports design of marine vessels via the Maxsurf software. Recently acquired from FormSys, Maxsurf provides naval architects with software tools for all phases of the vessel analysis and design process. Additionally, Bentley provides MOSES, a software system for hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analysis of all types of offshore platforms and vessels. It is widely used for simulating and analyzing transportation and installation of offshore structures as well as performing design and in-place calculations on floating offshore systems.
