A: The mass in the equations of motion for a ship in the frequency domain depends on frequency. Thus, there is no classical natural frequency. Almost everybody talks about a natural period and when they do, they really mean where the response peaks. You can ask the program to report the period of maximum response for any of the 6 DOF in the RAO report.
