These steps should be followed to completely uninstall SACS CONNECT Edition version from the machine and then install a fresh copy of the application.
1. Close all SACS instances. If there are any SACS models saved in any of the location mentioned under point 5, then copy the file and save it in any other local drive. 2. Go to Control panel > Programs and Features. 3. Uninstall the old SACS version (e.g XX version). 4. Open the registry editor (go to Run>Regedit) and search for any registry files related to SACS and delete all of them. 5. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\Engineering and check whether a folder named SACS CONNECT Edition XX version exists or not. If the folder exists, delete the folder. 6. Save the SACS installer in a local drive, right click on the installer and select the option "Run as Administrator". 7. Complete the installation. 8. Restart your machine.
Important: When reinstalling SACS on a computer running Windows Vista or later, please right-click on the installer, and select 'Run As Administrator' from the contextual menu. This will ensure that all components are installed properly.
