In SACS Dynpac program the mass matrix is reduced to the retained degrees of freedom using the Guyan reduction method assuming that the stiffness and mass are distributed similarly. After modes as extracted they are expended to include all 6 degrees of freedom for all joints.

User should consider the expanded mass participation factor and it can be increased by considering more modes in the DYNOPT card (columns 12-14).
