    STIX Criteria

    Product(s): MAXSURF Stability
    Version(s):
    Area: Stability Analysis

    Problem

    I have some issue with STIX criteria. I am trying to change the sail area , however it gives me all the time the same results, despite changing the sail area by half.

    Solution

    I tried running analysis on your model to compare the STIX Value with full and half area, but the result is the same because of the value of FKR which is 1.5 (max for the range).

    If we try to break it down using this formula:

    Both values got from the full and half Sail Area are 1.5 (max) that's why they have the same STIX value.
