In the Wave response input file, in the WROPT line, columns 19-20, which equivalent static option should be chosen for which scenario?
ES is intended for fatigue analyses as it does not pass the dead load through. DYN option in LDOPT line column 56-58 should be activated with this.
EX is intended for Extreme Wave analyses to pass the dead load through to the equivalent static load file. DYW option in LDOPT line column 56-58 should be activated with this.
EI only generates the inertial loads. It does not generate the static loads due to the wave loading.
US is unsorted load cases intended for fatigue as well. However, now SACS have greatly enhanced load case sorting in Wave Response and US option may not be required.
MR is intended for modal combination of dynamic results.
