Problem

While plotting the soil data in chart view, I see an error as “ERROR NUMBER OF SOIL TABLES BEING INPUT EXCEEDS THE NUMBER INDICATED BY PILE INPUT”. How to troubleshoot this issue?

Solution

The error indicates that you have more soil profiles than are defined in your PILE input. On the PILE line you specify a Soil Table ID (note that only one is required if you have the same properties in both planes). For each one of these table ID's, you must define a soil profile using the SOIL lines. Make sure that each soil ID specified in the PILE line has a corresponding soil profile.
