In PSIOPT line, I have an input option for API WSD selection (Col 59-60). Does this code affect the Pile UC check?
As per PSI manual, API option is applied for "generating soil resistance curves (T-Z, Q-Z, and P-Y)". It is only applied for the soil curve defined by "SOIL API" line. When you use SOIL API curves API option on the PSIOPT line controls which code is used to generate the soil reaction stiffness curves. However, this isn't used for member code checks. Code check is passed from the SACS model file options. The pile stress unity checks use the model design code to check the pile elements.
