Problem

I have to run collapse ship impact analysis for various directions. Is there a way to make it quicker rather than waiting for one to complete and start the other?

Solution

SACS has an option to run multiple analyses in parallel. You can create input and run files for all the cases (put them in 20-30 different directories as required in your project), then create a SACS multi-run file to include all run files and run it in parallel. If the computer has 8 cores and enough memory (like 32 GB, a typical engineering computer), SACS can run eight runs in parallel. Each run may take slightly more than a single run, but all runs will finish much quicker.
