Can SACS generate wind loads on Plate Elements?

Solution

Plate groups can be subjected to wind loads by specifying the wind load option on the PGROV plate group override input line.

By default, members located above the water surface receive wind loading. The program allows the specification of wind shield zones where members do not receive wind loading using the WINSHL line.
