Problem

Is there a way to check deflection UC ratio in SACS?

Solution

There is no direct way to check the deflection UC ratio. However, you can use the SPAN command to define a physical member. Once defined, the output listing file will give a result of SPAN/DEFLECTION value.

You can compare this value with your pre defined allowable value to check the deflection limits.
