Problem

I have springs in my SACS model. I did a collapse run using the model. It does not show any spring in the restart file. How can I check the model spring reactions after the collapse analysis?

Solution

Collapse programs treat reporting forces of Linear Ground Springs (defined in the SACS model input file) more like the reactions. If you want to see the linear ground spring results, you can add the option on the CLPRPT line to report joint reactions, and then you can get the ground spring reactions in the listing file.
