Problem with Isogen

Hi Everyone!

I seem to have a problem when I create the iso and data tables using the "createIso" feature of AutoPipe, I hope you can help me.

In my AutoPipe model I have a guide support with different gaps (-Z=1, +Z=2, -X=3 & +X=4) on a vertical pipe.

But when I create the Iso, the data table shows gaps "3" and "4" inverted:

Gap 1 = 1 (OK), Gap 2 = 2 (OK), Gap 3 = 4 (-X should be 3) and Gap 4 = 3 (+X should be 4).

Does anyone has a comment on this? Is there a fix?

I am using AutoPipe Version 09.06.02.06

Thanks.

  • Thanks for the reply Mike.

My stress iso table does not appear like that. Please see attached file.

If you need anything else please let me know.

  • Hello Daniel,

What 8 digit version of AutoPIPE are you using?
Is the pipe truly vertical? no x or z point displacement?

Can you post a screen shot of segment with support on the points tab of the input grid?

  • Hello Daniel,

Yes, this is a known issue that was logged under 'TFS-D259898: Stress ISO Export: Issue in direction of Guide supports" and was fixed in AutoPIPE Connect 10.00.00.10 and higher.

Suggest upgrading to AutoPIPE 10.00.00.10 or higher.
