Hello There,
I am trying to do seismic analysis for one of my projects. The information was given to me was
Risk category - 4
Site soil classification - Site class D
Building code reference document - 2012/2015 international building codes
seismic coefficients were also given to me. Could someone help me to enter these inputs in Autopipe and do the analysis?.
Thank You
Hello Ebin,
Please review the Wiki Pages about this topic.

There are two main options when it comes to global earthquake loads in AutoPIPE, using the code. First, you have to decide if you want to apply the earthquake load as a static load or a dynamic load. Earthquakes can be applied as a static load using Load > Static Earthquake. Please review the information about this load case in the Help (Help > Contents > Contents Tab > Reference Information > Analysis Considerations > Static Seismic Analysis). Earthquakes can also be applied as a dynamic load using a Response Spectrum Load (Loads > Response/Force). Please also review the information about this load case in the Help (Help > Contents > Contents Tab > Reference Information > Analysis Considerations > Response Spectrum Analysis).
We offer a training class on Response Spectrum Analysis. If you are interested, please go to the LEARNserver to review the training material and/or sign up for our next Virtual class. http://learn.bentley.com/app/Public
