I am unfamiliar with AutoPIPE but am very familiar with AutoPlant as I model all of our piping systems. An Engineer who just started using AutoPipe came to me with a question regarding the .pxf files I send him. He is having troubles understanding the .pxf files and notes/boundaries (his words not mine) that are imported. He finds it easier to just re-model my piping off the isometric. I am looking for any specific training for using AutoPIPE with an imported .pxf file. I am also curious if I am modeling my pipeline the correct way so that it comes in with all the information the engineer requires. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Again I am unfamiliar with AutoPIPE so I am not exactly understanding what he see's and what is causing the issues.
Hi Ashley,
We do not have a formal training course for importing PXF files from AutoPLANT, because mapping files need to be set up specifically for how the modeling is done in AutoPLANT. Below, however are some helpful resources for this topic:
If you'd like help specifically with your examples, please submit a Service Request and we can schedule a meeting.
Thanks,
