NTL file has been exported from AutoPIPE Advanced 11.00.00.22. This is then imported into AutoPIPE Advanced 11.04.00.10 on a different computer and subsequently re-exported to NTL format.Comparison of the original NTL file and the new exported NTL file show a number of minor differences which can be explained by consideration of the Card Reference. However the SPA1 card shows a large increase in the Dry Unit Weight of the soil (increased by ~16x) which I do not understand as there doesn't appear to be a change within the card definition here.

Good day to you Derek,
Before I look at this file I want to be sure that we are comparing apples to apples. Another words, After you import an NTL file into the program, you have to perform a full comparison of the model Input listing and complete output report. Make adjustments until the results are or nearly identical. This is very important. At that point you can export another NTL to compare with the original.
See WIKI here about round tripping

Also see steps here for comparing models with different results
https://communities.bentley.com/products/pipe_stress_analysis/w/pipe_stress_analysis__wiki/10134/03-why-are-the-results-different-with-similar-input-in-autopipe
Note, that some of the settings are not saved from a DAT file to an NTL file. Therefore, the application will use default information for missing values. The CAE Development team is constantly making this NTL round trip better and better. I would suggest using the latest version of the program v. 12.02.00.14 (Oct 2019).

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the response and the links. I have undertaken round-tripping as requested. CHK and MSG files only show small changes (unrelated to the soil parameters) comparison of the before and after OUT and RPT files only shows differences between in the timestamps and some minor formatting differences.
With regards program version I will double check with our software manager but CONNECTION client doesn't show an upgrade being available (might be to do with our license but will double check).
Kind regards,
