I recently updated the AutoPipe software from Version 09 to V12. I loaded in a model created in the previous version and was able to manipulate the elements, but when I tried to analyze the new arrangement, the attached error messages show up. What made it worse was the model data now appears to be corrupted because I can't even get it to reload.
I have no trouble creating and analyzing a new model using the new V12 software, but I am afraid to try and look at any prior work which was created using the old version of the software since I don't want to risk damage to the data.
Has anyone else seen this "severe (29)" error?
Hello Eric,
Could you find out how long the file name is? There is an issue with the new error logging feature if the file name (not including file extension) is greater than 47 characters (WIKI here). Try shortening the names of your models and see if that fixes the problem. We will be working to resolve this issue in a future release.

Josh, i thought you may have something there since i knew the file name I used included my project number, site name, iteration number, etc. It's a pretty long name, but by my count, only uses 43 characters (including spaces). When I have a little more time, I'll revisit and try to rename and shorten. Thanks for the idea. Eric
Greetings Eric,
Have you had the time to test out Josh's suggestion above. Did renaming your model to fewer than 48 characters fix the issue?
Please update your status.
