I am removing this question. I will avoid using the cut-short feature since it does not seem to do anything to the results.
Hello Lionel,
It would appear that you may not have had cut short applied correctly or set up in your analysis set correctly.
See AutoPIPE Example, Walkthru.dat, apply 1" Cut Short at node point B01:
Cut short was then assigned to Analysis #1
Results
Combination settings:
Gr+MaxP (SUS)
SUS+U1
Cut short can make a huge difference in an analysis.

Hello Mike,
thanks for the prompt reply.
All I can find is this screen. I have checked the results grid for both model scenarios and there is no obvious difference in results.
All that I found in my working model was that the output report had Results Summary items that included occasional loads. I would have thought cut-short was sustained - it never goes away, like gravity?
You can associate Cut short with any load case. It would be preferable to add it to U1 and then create User combinations that incorporates U1 to easily compare against the original.
Suggest to looking at the Non-code combinations to see what affect your cut short has you your model. You can quickly look at this in the results grids, Displacement, turn off all combinations besides U1.
