I need to know the Resultant response to seismic loads of a pipe system.
I have imposed the displacements for SAM, and added the response spectrum for the selected groups of supports.
When i analyze the system, i get 3 stress values for response analysis, for x,,y, and z, and from SAM analyse i get another 3 stress values for the x,y,z coordonates.
I used the the SRSS sum method for the 3 stresses from response, and same for the SAM stresses.
My question now is what is the total response to seismic loads?
Is it the resultant from response spectrum (dynamic) analyse? Or i have to SRSS sum that response with the SAM resultant response?

I would suggest that you consult the following resources:
1. The piping code with which the model is analyzed too. This will provide you with what code requirements that you must abide by for your project.
2. Project documentation (Design Specification). Most of the time any specific requirements / details will be outlined in project documentation.
