Can someone confirm that I am interpreting the local axis directions (A1) at the anchor correctly? The segment direction should be going down. See the following marked up screenshots:
click the View Tab and then on Display axes select local axes. This may help to figure it out. You have two positive Z's

Detief Drews is correct, the best approach to knowing what the local axis is, turn on AutoPIPE's Local Axes (View > Display Axes > Local Axes > Local Axes) command:

I don't appear to have that option. What version of AutoPipe is this? I'm using 12.02.00.14.

This feature was added in AutoPIPE 12.04.00.13 and higher.
