"AUTOPIPE Library Editor has stopped working" when building library file

Hello everyone,

I'm attempted to create a new material for use on an AutoPipe model. I've created all the tables and defined all material properties but when I click "Build library file" I get the "AUTOPIPE Library Editor has stopped working" error message and am forced to close the library editor.

The .src file I'm trying to build the library file from is located on my local desktop so should not have any access/rights issues.

I know the library editor is a relatively new feature for AutoPipe so maybe all the bugs aren't completely worked out yet?

Thanks in advance.

Using Autopipe version 12.4

  • Good day to you William Powers,

    You have 2 options:

    1. Move the SRC back into the AutoPIPE library folder where all the other SRC files are located

AutoPIPE 12.04.xx SRC file location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\AutoPIPE CONNECT v12\Libraries

    or

    2. Copy the Build.exe file from the library folder to the desktop where the SRC file is located.

With the Build.exe and the updated SRC file in the same folder location, double click the build EXE file to start the application. and enter the name of the SRC file, press enter and the new LIB file should appear in the folder. Copy / Paste the new LIB file to the Program data folder, use AutoPIPE's Preferences (Tools > Tools > Settings > Preferences) command to quickly get there. Restart AutoPIPE and check the new library data is working correctly.
