PCF Translator ignores some duplicate components, but not supports.

Question

I'm importing PCF files generated from Plant 3D. Some of the PCF files include segments of connected lines, and I can't figure out how to exclude them when creating the PCF file. 
 When I do a merged import using the PCF Translator, some duplicate components are ignored, but duplicate supports are imported. 
 What duplicate components will be ignored, and is there a workaround for my case?

 Interesting, 
 My first suggestion would be to confirm that one of the following is enabled in the pcf translator's component tab 
 
 Ignore Overlapping Components 
 Remove Overlapping part of Component 
 
 If this does not work, would you post here an 2 small portions of these files that exhibit this condition for review?
