What does it mean for 'N' and 'F' signs indicated in 'point name' column, as well as negative and positive signs in 'face' column in the report

  • Greetings Lik,

They indicate the same as in the model.

    Steps to repeat:

    1. Open AutoPIPE example model Walkthru.APC.
    2. Place cursor at the first node point A00.
    3. Using the keyboard right arrow, press it multiple times, all the while keeping your eye on the active node point information in the lower right corner of the application screen.
    4. You will see the node point  information changing; active node point displays A01 N, press arrow again, displays A01, press arrow again, displays  A01 F.
    5. Notice the type of component that this occurs at? a bend
    6. Open AutoPIPE input grids, select the Bend tab, and double click any bend in the grids to display the Bend Point dialog.
    7. Now press the Help button in the lower right corner.
    8. Read about the Bend component and scroll all the way to the bottom, under See Also, click on hyperlink for Understanding Bends
    9. Read this page to completely understand a bend component and to answer your question, What does N and F stand for?

To understand what + / - stands for., see WIKI here.
