I want to simulate the case of a high pressure gas that is vented to atmosphere when a vent valve opens suddenly. I know that at the instant the valve opens the flow will be high velocity, possibly choked at the exit of vent pipe and large forces generated on supports along the vent pipe. Is the Fluid Transient capable of this?
