The new version of AutoPipe doesn't support export .dgn file anymore

Previously, i was able to create a dgn file that transfer the piping system and the supporting structure, which was very helpful for presentation and sharing the model to designer for drafting. Now this option gone. Please we need it back as it is very helpful to reduce time for feeding information to drafting.

  • Greetings,

We sincerely apologize for this disruption of your workflow. However it was necessary for the command to be removed in ue to testing results. In order to build 12.07 through our systems and release it before the end of the year we took the decision to remove these features and release for those users who do not use the DGN export features.  Otherwise we would have been unable to release 12.07 at all until we had fixed the reported issue.  We are actively working on migrating our DGN export module to x64 to accommodate the fix and will be releasing ASAP an update to 12.07.

Note, we did provide a note in the ReadMe file, see link here, notes

If this workflow is critical to you, then continue to use 12.05 or 12.06 until we have the 12.07 update; remember you will have to save the model you have opened in 12.07 back to the earlier version.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.  Please keep an eye on our announcement page for the posting of the updated version. Otherwise, log a service Request mentioning this post asking that you be added to a list of people to be notified when the update has been released.

  • Greetings,

The development team has fixed this issue in the newest release of AutoPIPE, version See Release notes here. However there was a slight mistake made when going through the release process. The wrong Seed file was added to the released version. Please see WIKI here for steps to replace the seed file.

Again thank you for choosing Bentley Systems, Inc.
